I bought this as I wanted a change from Davina but to be honest it's too easy for me (Davina is hard core pain inducing) - the core crunch isn't demanding enough, I like to feel the burn and just wasn't getting it. There's also an eating plan but I havent looked at that bit yet.Īll in all the dvd is slightly cheesey but quite good fun, however, if you're quite fit already this is not for you as it may be too easy. There are 4 sections: street heat, a warm up with aerobic moves urban burn, high intensity street dance power grove, fat burning dance and power moves and core crunch which is the toning part.

The actual work out gets you sweating and goes through the moves slowly and they are easy to pick up (unlike Tracy Anderson's which is rock hard). The dvd looks like it's set in a working mens club with silver curtains all the way round - more tack. However, she doesn't wear the hideous shorts through the workout so perhaps she is just showing us how nice her bum is compared to before she lost the weight. Well, where to start - the worst thing about this dvd is the beginning and seeing Vicky dancing around in tiny tacky silver shorts with her bum hanging out - slightly off putting. However as a cardio workout I think this is really good, great fun and half the time you dont even realise you're exercising!! Vicky does look amazing but I do wonder what else she was doing to get her abs that defined, or was she just eating lettuce leaves and fresh air?! I do this usually 4 times a week, I exercise purely so that I can eat pretty much whatever I want at the weekend (I try to be good during the week) but I think I need to be doing more toning exercises so Im going to try and find some sort of Pilates workout to do aswell. The trainer Rachel is brilliant, shes really encouraging and Vicky doesnt say too much which is perfect, I hate it when they keep chatting!!

I really like the music, I recognise some of it and you dont need a whole lot of space either, my living room, well the space I have without moving furniture is about 10ft by 5ft and thats just about enough for me.

I suppose when youre working to someone elses speed and levels it pushes you more. I used to go to the gym 4 times a week and Im more sweaty and out of breath with this than I ever was at the gym. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this. The final section is core crunch, its only 10 minutes but seems shorter, I dont know if this could have been a bit longer but I do like it.

The next section, power groove is again 15 minutes but this is of a higher intensity, but again great fun, they incorporate jumping with squats and boxing, again they go through everything a few times before running through it altogether so it does give you a chance to put the steps together in your head. The next section is 15 minutes long and is broken up into sections, they go over it a few times so you can get used to it but dont worry if you dont get the hang of it completely the first time, it took me at least 3 or 4 goes of the whole dvd before I remembered everything, but I like it, it feels like Im in a music video, ha ha, especially in the hips section. It starts off with the warm up which is ten minutes long, it not only warms you up, its pretty hard work! Always have water at the ready by the way!!! I was very excited to start it, sounds sad I know but having lost 5 stone in the past I work really hard to keep it off so I know I have to do some form of exercise. I purchased Dance it off with Vicky Binns while I was away so it was waiting for me when I got back. I already had Charlie Brooks DVD and was enjoying that but didnt want to get fed up of it when I could see it was working so I thought Id get another one so I could alternate them. Really like this - even though its exercise!
